Stockport

Stockport is one of 10 districts comprising the Greater Manchester region. It is 7 miles from Manchester city centre and close to Manchester International Airport. Stockport adjoins fine Cheshire countryside to the south west, the dramatic Peak District National Park to the south east and the vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Manchester to the north.

Stockport town centre has direct motorway access via junctions 1 & 27 of M60, which links up with M62, M56 and M6 and its mainline rail station provides direct services to London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and many other destinations.
